Michigan Tanner Appliance
Michigan and Tanner splints are used in the treatment of the TMJ and to control bruxism. These full coverage splints are constructed in a 2mm invested clear acrylic material.

Screw Retained Implant
A screw retained restoration is that crown or bridge is fabricates in such a way that a hole is present on the occlusal surface. The hole allows for the restoration to be screwed directly to the implant by way of a fixation screw.
Cement Retained Implant
A cement retained restoration is that crown or bridge is cemented over the Implant abutment and do not have an access hole to the abutments screw of the implant.
Maryland Bridge
Maryland bridges are made of porcelain supported by metal or zirconia frame work. This is also available in a composite material reinforced with fibre mesh.

Full metal used in crown and bridge, compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to minimum.
Composite
Composite can also be used to make relatively strong crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays when it is cured and processed into blocks outside of the mouth.

Porcelain Bonded to Metal crown is made from a metal layer underneath with porcelain layered over the metal. They are indicated for crowns and full arch bridges with any metal or porcelain margin design.
